As Wingspan Marketing begins to develop it’s place in the internet marketing field I see the need to focus on a specific call to action or mission statement.
Focus is important in any business but I have witnessed myself and others getting off track and losing ground in their influence as our focus fluctuates from things that are really neat but unnecessary. In order to prevent a wavering business model I sat down and came up with a singular, simple focal point. VALUE. Wingspan Marketing is in the business of Creating, Developing, and Revealing Value on the internet.
Every person has value. They may not see what makes them special but to everyone in their sphere of influence they are important. Their daily conversations in person or online encourages or discourages people in many ways. I want Wingspan Marketing to help create, develop, and reveal the value of people and their businesses.
Creating Value
As a marketing company I felt the need to be able to work with designers who create beautiful things so that my clients can have a platform that doesn’t take away from the value but instead works kind of like a spotlight to promote their product or service. Designer’s are I have had a developer license for The Standard Theme since it was released a little over a year ago. It is by far the best blogging theme on the market today. It is so well coded that I have used it in several websites as well, namely BurgessRoad.org.
Recently, I took another step towards this goal of creating value for my clients by purchasing a developer license for Elegant Themes. This resource includes over fifty different high quality WordPress themes. This will allow Wingspan Marketing to develop sites more quickly with the backing of an incredible community within Eleganthemes.com .
Developing Value
I cannot understate the importance of being able to take a product like The Standard Theme or Elegant Themes and developing them into web properties that say something unique for each client.
Not only does Wingspan Marketing help develop websites but when a good social media strategy is designed and implemented it allows the product to get the most exposure and following possible. EyeSpeak blog recently had a great article exposing the fact that Social Media is no longer a “new” medium but rather Social media is part of a normal business strategy.
Revealing Value
This is my favorite part of Wingspan’s mission statement. I want to not only create and develop valuable information but I want to help show it to everyone. This part of the process requires and ongoing relationship with each business in order to allow the business model and current web trends to play nice together.
I incorporate Google, Bing, and to compile analytics on each site which allows the site owner to make definite calculated decisions concern the web property. Questions concerning your target audience, keyword relevance, and traffic funnel can only be answered by employing these tools.
So there you have it. Wingspan Marketing’s focus. It’s still a work in progress and no doubt many aspects of it will be adjusted over time but the main idea will always remain the same. I want to help create, develop and reveal value on the web.
This is just a brief overview so do you have anything to add that I missed? What is your mission statement?
